Privacy overview
Privacy
This privacy overview describes how Lighter’s browser-first utilities handle common inputs, device permissions, analytics, advertising, and site operations in plain language.
Browser-first processing
Many Lighter utilities are designed to process the information you enter in the browser. For example, core text transformations, conversions, and browser-supported image actions can run locally on your device.
Browser, extension, network, and device behavior can vary. Avoid entering sensitive information unless you understand the tool, your environment, and the applicable privacy terms.
Camera and microphone permissions
Camera and microphone tools ask your browser for permission only when you activate a feature that needs the device. You can deny or revoke permissions through your browser or device settings.
Use these tools in a setting where you are comfortable handling the captured material, and stop the feature when you are finished.
Analytics and advertising
Lighter may use Google Analytics to measure page views and navigation patterns, and advertising services such as Google AdSense and Adsterra to display advertising. Those providers may collect technical information through their own browser scripts, cookies, or similar technologies under their applicable terms and policies.
Advertising is labelled and kept separate from navigation and core tool controls. You can use browser privacy settings, content controls, or applicable provider choices to manage some tracking and advertising preferences.
Site operations and changes
Lighter may use hosting, security, analytics, and advertising services to deliver and protect the site. Those services may process limited technical information needed to operate the service.
This page may change as Lighter features or publishing arrangements change.
